ABSTRACT This year 2020 started very sadly and dramati-cally. AoUniv. Prof. Dr. med. univ. Andreas Wei-glein passed away at the beginning of February 2020. With him, the anatomical family loses a very strong macroscopic and clinically oriented special-ist. Especially the Department of Macroscopic and Clinical Anatomy of the MeIn memory of our col-league and friend Prof. Dr. Andreas Weiglein from the Department of Macroscopic and Clinical Anato-my at the Medical University of Graz, Austria, who passed unexpectedly 7 February 2020 in Graz.
