This subdivision enables the study of analogous regions when comparing different developmental stages, different experimental conditions or different closely-related species. As examples, we analyze the results for rats and mice describing the patterns of Nissl staining and NADPH-diaphorase histochemical labelling in the olfactory bulb. Different experimental conditions in which the olfactory bulb undergoes size changes are also discussed. ER -
